Malina feels there is art in the environments we live in and this is what drives her as a Designer. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Along the journey, she found her passion specifically in residential design. The kitchen is a room used every day and designing kitchens for people, allows her to better someone’s every day life.
Having grown up in South Jersey she’s experienced the luscious pine barrens, sandy shores, and city life across the bridge. Exploring these various cultures, she can design with a variety of styles and influences in mind.
A room is a canvas that limits no medium to develop a relationship between people and their surroundings. A project with her will be exciting and fresh and she look forward to the adventure.
After college, she moved home to Philly, and began her impressive over 30 year career in Interior Design. Her first job out of school was as an account manager for a Knoll International Systems Furniture company. She continued her education by learning and working on Auto CADD for her custom designs. Now being part of the team at Solid Wood Cabinets has been the most enjoyable for her. I always tell myself “if I can only buy time I would do it!” I feel like helping people is never ending. I can’t explain the happiness and joy of my customer when they see their kitchen or bath done and ready for them. How thankful they are that someone can help them achieve their dream.
I don’t believe in competition, for me, as long as I gave in my best in everything that I do, I will consider myself a winner! It is always been my goal not to give up until it works and proven. One thing that escalates me in what I do is when I have a great team to work with.
